According to what I interpreted, the song is about how Rin, who is engaged to Gakupo, was returning home from a party and she met Len, playing a violin under a Sakura tree. It was love at first sight for them. However, they can't be together due to social statuses/background, and their love story lasted only for 16 nights before Rin gets married off to Gakupo. I think Rin may have committed suicide, no idea. The lyrics didn't give that much of a hint about that. D:
